SGV Trib Coverage of the Sneak Attack

Steve Scauzillo, who is a vehement Wal-Mart supporter, took a little issue with Wal-Mart's actions. He used the issue to argue against direct democracy. He also put in a bit about land use initiatives that was largely unrelated to the story, inasmuch as we did not deal with the GP. We were petitioning a council decision.

Jason Kosareff's boring article about one of the most exciting city council meetings in a while. He completely neglected the mudslinging, and the accusations. The fight was dirty, and it was that way because Wal-Mart got down and dirty. Also, he never questioned why Wal-Mart would do what they did. It was unusual, and merited analysis, but there was none at all.
