$80,000 more for Dinsmoremoneydownthepit House.

I wonder how much tax revenue the city, county, and school districts have lost over the past 34 years by taking the Dinsmoor House off the property rolls? Never mind the hundreds of thousands it'll cost just to make the house safe to enter. As for turning it into a museum, there's another several hundred thousand dollars.

Plenty of houses in Rosemead are older. Plenty have had more historically significant owners. But only one is run by Maggie's friends, so they're the ones who get the dough. How sweet.
