Oktoberfest is history

The council that claims to care about events that bring the city together just killed one of two events that actually does that. It's being replaced by "an event to be named later."

No, I'm not kidding. They don't know what they want to replace it with, but they've set aside $20,000 to do it. So, guess what? People who always say, "You can't beat something with nothing"? They were wrong. Oktoberfest has been replaced by. . . Nothing, yet.
