Local schools receive Title 1 award

EGPNews.com MUSD Schools Receive Title I Academic Achievement Award. Title 1 are fund that are given schools with some low-income kids. The goal is to raise scores for lower income and underperforming students, as well as the entire school.

PH and MG are the two relatively affluent schools in the district, but they both cover a diverse area with a range of incomes.

Other schools honored in the area are Washington Elementary, Martha Baldwin Elementary, Repetto Elementary, and Encinita Elementary.
